What we collect, in plain language.
This is a small company website. We collect very little, we never sell it, and there is no advertising tracking here. If you would rather we held nothing at all, write to us and we will delete what we have.
When you visit this site
Hosting. The pages are served by Firebase Hosting, which is Google. Their servers keep standard logs, including your IP address, so the site stays secure and reliable.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. Advertising and personalisation signals are switched off, so it counts visits rather than building a profile of you or following you elsewhere. It stores cookies in your browser.
Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means your browser asks Google's servers for them and Google sees that request.
Videos and images. These are served from this website itself. Nothing loads from a video platform, and nothing tracks what you watch.
If you use the contact form
The form asks for your name, your email address, optionally your company, what your message is about, and the message itself. We use them to read and answer your message, and nothing else.
When you press Send, the message passes through n8n, an automation service we use, which emails it straight to our Google Workspace mailbox. n8n does not keep a copy of messages that arrive safely. If a message fails to arrive, n8n keeps a record of that attempt so we can fix the problem.
The form also has a hidden field and notes how long the page was open before you pressed Send. Both exist only to stop automated spam, and neither is stored.
If you write to us or join the Within list
Email reaches a Google Workspace mailbox, and we keep it so we can reply and remember the conversation. The Within list works like the contact form: your email address passes through n8n straight to our mailbox, and we use it to tell you once when the doors open, and for nothing else.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We do not run advertising trackers or remarketing pixels on this site.
- We do not add you to anything you did not ask for.
Your choices
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and everything here works without them. You can use a browser that blocks analytics, which we will never try to work around.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Write to ana@youtopiaatelier.com and we will do it.
